My favourite books

  1. Tony Zhang "Sams Teach Yourself C in 24 Hours" - done. It is very good book for begining. Very easy to understand.
  2. Antanas Vidiunas "C++ ir C++ Builder pradmenys". - done. This book is written only in Lithuanian language. It is good, but not easy to understand.
  3. Randall Hyde "The Art of Assembler". - 35% done, suspended. Very deep book about x86 asm. Over 1000 pages. Maybe not very easy to understand, but very interesting! I chosen DOS edition.
  4. A to Z of C. Read not everything, only interesting subjects. Very good as reference for DOS and Low level programming. But it does not cover Linux or Windows programming, only DOS and BIOS level. It looks like biggest part of this book probably was written at about 1990 but SURELY WORTH READING.
  5. E. Aisbergas "Radijas ir televizija - tai paprasta! - done (I will read again). Available in Lithanian, Russian and French. Good book, but lack of practical circuits, only theory.
  6. A PAINLESS GUIDE TO CRC ERROR DETECTION ALGORITHMS - done (I will read again). Very good guide from 1993 but still valuable today.
  7. James Antonakos "The Intel Microprocessor Family: Hardware and Software" - still did not started to read. Very very very very interesting book about how computer works!
  8. "theForger's Win32 API Programming Tutorial" - done. Very good basics Windows API tutorial.
  9. Julie C. Meloni "Sams Teach Yourself PHP, MySQL and Apache All in One" - reading 60%.
